  Staff is not very knowledgeable. I Brought in a 14K Gold Chain And Bracelet, after the girl "tested" it on their jewelry stone, she could not tell it was real. She then called in someone else, who also used the same stone to test it. Stone was very dirty and therefore not able to give an accurate test. After calling the branch manager in Stuart, they passed up on buying the chain and bracelet. I then went to a different pawn shop, that had a high quality jewelry testing gun, to find out that my chain and bracelet was in fact 14K and was bought on the spot at $26 per pennyweight. Staff was totally clueless at Colorado Pawn, based on their other reviews they are only getting worse.

  I have been doing business with Colorado Pawn and Jewelry for a year now. I mainly work with Kristol and Jeff, but I am always greeted with a smile by anyone who works there. Very friendly staff, clean/organized store makes it a pleasure to shop there. I recommend you stop here first before you head out to a big box. You more then likely find what you are looking for at a much better price.
